Get your news discovered.

BGol exists to help fellow survey engineers, land surveyors, GIS experts, manufacturers and traders get discovered. If you have a product update, a project milestone, an award or an achievement, send it to us and we will publish it in the news section, with sources.

Who can submit

  • Verified businesses: manufacturers, dealers and traders, service companies, software and data providers, training institutes.
  • Government agencies and departments in the surveying, mapping and geospatial space.
  • Individuals who want to share an achievement, award, publication or milestone.

What to send

  • Company or person name, and what kind of organisation it is.
  • GST number (for companies) and your website address.
  • Contact person and an official email address on your company domain.
  • Your brochure or portfolio (PDF or link).
  • What is new, in two to five lines, with the key facts: names, models, dates, price and availability where relevant.
  • A public page where this is announced, such as your website or press page. We need something we can cite.
  • For awards and achievements: a link to proof, such as the organiser’s announcement.

What happens next

  1. You email usWe read it and reply if anything is missing.
  2. We verifyWe check the company’s GST registration and that the email and website domains match. For individuals we check the proof you send.
  3. We write it upWe summarise the news in a neutral tone, in our own words, with your facts and links, and cite the sources.
  4. We publishThe item appears in the news section marked “Company-submitted PR”, with its sources, and is included in our sitemap and feed so search engines find it.

Ground rules

  • Publishing is free. BGol does not accept payment for placement or for favourable coverage.
  • We verify who you are, not that your product claims are true. Claims are shown as your claims and linked to your source.
  • We may edit for clarity and neutrality, and we may decline items that cannot be verified or read like advertising only.
  • You can ask us to correct or remove your item at any time by email.
